What we collect
- Account information: your name, work email, organization name, a bcrypt hash of your password, and when you last signed in.
- Connection details: MySQL host, port, user and database names, and SSH bastion host and user if you use one; the MySQL password, BigQuery service-account key and the SSH key we generate for your organization are encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
- Operational metadata: table and column names, row counts, timestamps, binary log positions and error messages needed to run your pipelines. Values quoted in database error messages are masked before they are stored.
What we don't collect
- We don't keep copies of your table rows. Rows pass through our workers in memory and are written to BigQuery in your own Google Cloud project.
- We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Signing in stores a session token in your browser's local storage.
How we use it
Only to provide the service: authenticating you, running and monitoring your pipelines, billing, and contacting you about your account. When you sign up, connect a database or a pipeline fails, our team receives an email with your name, email and organization name so we can help.
Where it is processed
Account data and operational metadata are stored on Google Cloud in Mumbai, India. Your rows are processed in the region closest to your BigQuery dataset (currently Mumbai, India or Iowa, United States) and written to your own Google Cloud project.
Service providers
- Google Cloud: hosting, database and logs.
- Google Workspace: email, including the notifications described above.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Deleting a pipeline, source or destination deletes its stored credentials. Operational events are kept for troubleshooting and deleted when the pipeline is deleted.

You can access, correct or delete your personal data, or ask questions about this policy, by emailing support@quayen.com.
